Products maintenence advice

Textile Range
Vacuum with a suitable nozzle, not without a nozzle. For heavy soiling, use a mild furniture cleaner. Check the textile manufacturer’s website for approved types of cleaners.

Metal Range
Wipe with a dry or damp cloth. For heavy soiling, use a mild detergent such as dish soap or mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners and other products containing abrasives, acids, or ammonia.

Electrical Range
Wipe with a dry cloth. NEVER use water when cleaning electrical products. The product must be disposed separately from household waste. The product should be recycled according to local regulations. Alternatively, return the product to Scan Sørlie for proper disposal through waste collection systems. The purpose of separating this product from household waste is to reduce the amount of waste sent to incineration or landfill, to reduce negative impacts on the environment and human health.

Wood and Laminate
To take care of your furniture in the best way, you should use ordinary cleaning agents for the painted surfaces. Avoid agents containing abrasives, acids or ammonia. On other surfaces that may be more porous, it is best to clean with a slightly damp cloth and the same mild detergent. Here too, you should not use scouring powder or agents that contain
abrasives, acids or ammonia.

Glass
Glass is cleaned with the help of designated cleaning products. The surfaces should be wiped with a terry towel or other soft material. NEVER use cleaning agents that have an abrasive effect as they can scratch the glass surfaces.

Leather
Vacuum with a soft brush or wipe with a dry clean dust cloth. If necessary, clean with leather soap and leather conditioner. To protect the leather from drying out, the product should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

Plastic
Wipe with a dry or damp cloth. For heavy soiling, use a mild cleaning agent such as washing-up liquid or soap.
